April 23 Spring Excursion^^
April 19 See how they translate Libai's poem~Wine of the grapes,
Goblets of gold--
And a prettty maid of Wu.
She comes on pony-back; she is fifteen;
Blue-painted eyebrows-
Shoes of pink brocade-
Inarticulate speech-
But she sings bewitchingly well.
So, feasting at the table
Inlaid with tortoise shell,
She gets drunk in my lap.
Ah, child, what caresses
Behind lily-embroidered curtains! April 14
在接待参观中 发现two of my favourite spots in dalian 推荐外地甚至本地朋友一游
loving it..
just read an e-mail that really excites me~ from our dear vietnamese fren
"Anyway, just to tell you something I have always wanted to tell you, but keep forgetting: During my trip to Singapore in late March, I went to an old bookstore where I found an Economics textbook called 'Living Economics' written by...Dave Sowden. And since that's a book for teenagers, it claims to be hip and cool for goodness' sake. :) It is indeed a mind-numbing experience reading Sowden-at-his-coolest (the book was written in 1988, I think) endeavouring to make Economics relevant and interesting to O Level students - there is no Friedman bashing in the book, but I suspect he actually tries to influence those innocent youngsters by ranting on and on about how inflation is unthinkable in a barter economy (yup, that's why he criticises Friedman for making a true, but useless proclaimation with regard to inflation being always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon).'
haha if you happened to see the book too, help me buy one please^^
